The slab is down and we are concentrating on the plumbing and electrical! 

A couple of years ago, Bill redesigned a Japanese design influenced home for a friend and client in Dallas.  Powers Design & Build was actually featured in Luxe Dallas Magazine for this work.  The house is currently for sale and Bill went down there and met with the original architect, Max Levy and the landscape architect Alan Fujimori for "wine and conversation" with the realtor at an open house this month.  It was a huge success and in the meantime, Bill shot some pictures of this lovely home.

This home is a collaboration of architectural precision and landscape design using the Japanese "Ken" dimension module.  Completed in 1998, Mr. Levy sited 4 independent buildings of approximately 9,500 sq. feet, including the 2-level main house, guest pavilion, pool pavilion and detached 3-car garage.  The gardens boast a 9,000-gallon Koi pond, covered walkways and al fresco entertaining spaces.  It's quite a place!
